The first campout of the year is here! SCHLITTERBAHN!! I am SO EXCITED!!! We leave tomorrow afternoon. Please arrive on time (5:00-5:30) and be ready to get the trailer loaded and hit the road ASAP (6:00-6:30). We have a 4.5 hour trip ahead of us and when we get there we will be setting up our campsites. So PLEASE be on time. Remember to bring something to eat while we are in route as we will not be stopping for dinneronly biological breaks. The forecast looks great, no rain, just a few clouds. However, please do bring everything on the packing list, including rain gear, because the Scouts of Troop 17 have been known to bring rain no matter what the forecast calls for! As always, we will be wearing our full Class A uniform as we travel, so please dress accordingly. Also please bring any outstanding permission slips, health forms and/or money if you have not already. Parents of first time campers: If your sons have any questions on gear or packing they should reach out to their Patrol Leaders. If they do not know who their Patrol Leader is or do not have their Patrol Leaders contact info please feel free to reach out to me and I will pass it along to you. My number is 817-320-6700.
