Scouts and Scouters, As Mr. Peterson mentioned last night, the Longhorn Council has organized an event to promote the Boy Scout program to the Cub Scouts and Weblos. This is a recruiting event for Troop 17 and for the Council at large. Troop 17 has volunteered to build and staff a rope bridge at the event, which runs from 10 to 2 on Saturday at Veterans Park in White Settlement. 8809 Clifford Street, 76108. We need a crew of Scouts to arrive at 8am to set up the bridge and a crew to staff the event from 10 to 2. Feel free to stay for the duration. The event qualifies for service hours for rank advancement. Please contact your patrol leader and let him know if you are able to attend. Thanks. Mr. Virden.
