Scouts, <br><br> Troop 17 is changing our campout this weekend to a good old fashioned McClure shindig at Worth Ranch. The district has cancelled the camporee due to the scheduled activities being incompatible with the weather forecast. Fortunately our scouts are all waterproof and less rain is expected in Palo Pinto than Cresson so we are excited to announce the change in venue and activities. <br><br> This Saturday we will be having a patrol pioneering competition followed by a mountaintop campfire at Hugos crack. Additionally, scouts have the opportunity to start earning pioneering merit badge. I look forward to seeing everyone at the scout lodge on Friday to kick off a great weekend. If you have not signed up yet OR need to cancel please contact your patrol leader so they can adjust their grocery shopping plans. <br><br> Mr. Lunsford
